first i'm getting the matching rim because i dont want to waste cash on new spokes B

I used "Circa 1884" (Not 100% sure on the 1884) paint stripper and a scraper/100 grit sand paper/steel wool to get most of it off. Then I used 80 grit sand paper to get the rest off. Then, I used metallic silver spray paint on the crown after roughing it up a bit so the paint would stick (it was still black) and sprayed some of the paint on the bottom of the legs (lots of places were hard to get completely raw, like the brake mounts) to get it even looking. I also sprayed some in the back of the arch. I did something like 2-3 coats of this, and then 3 coats of clear coat over the whole fork.

Esentially, it was a bitch to do (5hrs of work at least). But now it's basically raw and will look stupidly nice with the frame. Pics will be posted later of the frame/fork combo.

fork took way longer than i expected and we agreed on 60 bux so im not gonna charge you more because its chill even though its like 4 bucks an hour for labour, but i dont care because im not money hungry or anything so 60 bucks is chill but honestly im not chill with less than 60 bucks because even though you helped out with the frame quite a bit, we agreed on 60 when i thought that the fork just needed to be painted a few coats but after i got it i noticed the paint was scratched up and scraped and uneven so if i just painted it it woulda loked like absolute shit. so i had to raw it regardless whcih takes lots of time. so im just sayin, 60 bucks = fair

Oh. I think you can polish stuff though and make it look chrome? But it probs costs lots of money for the equipment. I don't want to chrome plate anything because it adds quite a bit of weight from what I've heard.
